Trail Conditions & Grooming Update
We’d like to share an update on current trail conditions and upcoming grooming plans.
Our grooming team was able to get out on Tuesday following a small amount of new snow, and despite very challenging, wet snow conditions, our team did a solid job improving ski-ability where possible. These are not easy conditions to groom, and we appreciate the care being taken.
Based on the forecast, we will not be grooming again until Sunday morning. At this time, it’s important that we protect the limited snow base we have, particularly in lower or more exposed areas. Over the next couple of days, members may notice more dirt showing in places as temperatures fluctuate.
Planned grooming:
Sunday: Grooming on most trails, conditions permitting
Monday: Follow-up grooming as appropriate
As always, grooming decisions are made carefully with the goal of preserving snow, maintaining safety, and maximizing the quality of skiing over the remainder of the season.
What Members Can Do to Help
During these fragile conditions, member cooperation makes a real difference:
Avoid thin or dirty sections where the snow base is limited
Respect trail closures and grooming decisions, even if conditions look tempting
Stay off freshly groomed trails until they have set up
Choose classic skiing over skate where appropriate to reduce snow damage
Consider skiing later in the day or waiting for improved conditions
These small choices help preserve the trails for everyone and allow our grooming team to make the most of the snow we have.
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support of our grooming team during these challenging conditions.
