Snowshoeing to Pym's Cabin - Jan 4 - 10:00am
We will be snowshoeing from the Summit parking lot (not main cabin) up Snowy Wonder East to Pym's Cabin and then back along Snowy PM East. Roughly 9km and 250m elevation gain. Should take three to four hours.
Anyone is welcome to join, although if this is your first time snowshoeing, this may be more strenuous than you want. This event is NOT organized by Kelowna Nordic. You take responsibility for your own fitness level and safety. We're not in a hurry and will likely stop many times for photographs and to check out animal tracks and scenic viewpoints. Summit parking lot is 49°47'22"N 119°05'39”W (Google Maps link below) and is right on Highway 33, about a kilometre past the Big White turnoff. When you see the truck brake check on the left, you'll want to slow down because you're almost on top of the entrance.

You will need a pass for the park. Day passes can be purchased ahead of time at the URL below or with cash (exact change only) at the trailhead. $10 for adults and $5 for youth.
