Snow!

Finally it snowed enough for us to grooming most of the trails and the conditions are excellent! Get out and ski and snowshoe and enjoy winter again.

With the improved conditions we are returning to the original plan for dog trails at Kelowna Nordic. Consult the Kelowna Nordic map for trails open for dogs.
Note that K9 and Diamond Dave's may still closed ( check the grooming report) so access to dog trails is from Kallis and from the K9-Riverside connector at the main cabin.

Temporary Trail Access to Telemark Season Passholders

Due to ongoing poor snow conditions in the region, the Kelowna Nordic Ski & Snowshoe Club has approved a temporary arrangement to access nordic skiing and snowshoeing at Kelowna Nordic. For the remainder of the 2025–26 season, season passholders of the Telemark Nordic Club are welcome to use Kelowna Nordic trails at no charge, provided they display a valid Telemark pass and follow all Kelowna Nordic trail rules and signage. Feb 4th,2026 Grooming Update

Trail Conditions & Grooming Update We’d like to share an update on current trail conditions and upcoming grooming plans. Our grooming team was able to get out on Tuesday following a small amount of new snow , and despite very challenging, wet snow conditions , our team did a solid job improving ski-ability where possible. These are not easy conditions to groom, and we appreciate the care being taken. Based on the forecast, we will not be grooming again until Sunday morning

Headlamp Heros 2026

Hello Kelowna Nordic I'm reaching out with information on a fun race series Sovereign Lake is hosting on Wednesday nights in February. We would love to welcome any of your members to participate! I have attached the event poster to this email. Race registration is at 6 pm each night before the race, then races start at 6:30 pm. They are meant to be community-friendly races, and the $5 admission goes to Jess4Kids, our ski fund helping youth in the community access Nordic skii
