Bonus Weekend - Reopening

Winter isn’t finished with us yet — and we have some great news.

Thanks to the fresh snowfall this week, Kelowna Nordic will be reopening for a bonus weekend this Saturday and Sunday for both cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

Our grooming team will be out preparing the ski trails, so you can expect freshly groomed corduroy and beautiful late-season conditions. Snowshoe trails will also be open for those looking to enjoy a final winter outing on the mountain.

This is a wonderful opportunity to get out for one more ski or snowshoe adventure, enjoy the scenery, and celebrate the return of winter — even if just for the weekend.

Trail Closures at Kelowna Nordic

Temporary Trail Access to Telemark Season Passholders

Due to ongoing poor snow conditions in the region, the Kelowna Nordic Ski & Snowshoe Club has approved a temporary arrangement to access nordic skiing and snowshoeing at Kelowna Nordic. For the remainder of the 2025–26 season, season passholders of the Telemark Nordic Club are welcome to use Kelowna Nordic trails at no charge, provided they display a valid Telemark pass and follow all Kelowna Nordic trail rules and signage. Trail Conditions & Grooming Update We’d like to share an update on current trail conditions and upcoming grooming plans. Our grooming team was able to get out on Tuesday following a small amount of new snow , and despite very challenging, wet snow conditions , our team did a solid job improving ski-ability where possible. These are not easy conditions to groom, and we appreciate the care being taken. Based on the forecast, we will not be grooming again until Sunday morning
