Fate hasn't been always kind to us at times. Today was the Fourth Stride & Glide and the weather was perfect, conditions were great and then highway 33 was closed in both directions at Joe Rich.

Amazingly enough, word got out and a steady stream of cars (and large trucks) made it up the back-roads using McCulloch Rd and we had over 80 people up for the event.

We raised almost $35,000 for Cardiac Care at the KGH.

Thanks to Emanuela, John, Stephan and David for leading the classic and skate groups and Mary Anne and Mary leading the snowshoe groups.

Descriptions of prizes and pictures from the event can be found on the main Stride and Glide page.

Thanks to our fabulous sponsors and all the participants for making this a great success!

Kelowna Subaru has generously funded the purchase of vests for the Masters Coaches at Kelowna Nordic. Now its easier to tell who is instructing versus who simply wandered onto the grid! Thanks to all that participate in the Masters Social Ski lessons in spite of the weather!
