I skied up Thunder Mountain, Old Cedar and Upper Olympic today on classic skis. Conditions were quite good considering how little snow we have had. The skate lane also looked very good. There was a thin spot on Upper Olympic but otherwise no issues.
The ski conditions at Kelowna Nordic are excellent. We skied up Thunder Mountain and did Backcountry to the Backcountry Cabin and back. (The Backcountry Connector wasn't groomed.) and then returned Axel's Alley - Old Cedar. The tracks were excellent and the skate lane looked fine.
Beautiful conditions and great grooming today! The route I did starting from Kallis was in good shape and it was snowing lightly, here's the recording on the Avenza app.
Today was an excellent day for classic at Kelowna Nordic. We did Riverside-Backcountry-Backcountry Connector-Riverside Connector and upper log cabin return. The only non-groomed part for us was backcountry connector but the tracks were only lightly filled and so we re-groomed the tracks for you !
Note as the grooming report stated this morning the skate lane was soft and snow-covered making for a harder skate.
